Mycobacterium DNA Detection Kit

Mycobacterium is a genus of slender, slightly curved microorganisms that includes the Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex, non-tuberculous mycobacteria, and Mycobacterium leprae. Many countries require testing for Mycobacterium in biological products. Traditional methods for Mycobacterium testing are culture-based, which is time-consuming and cannot meet the testing needs for short-shelf-life biological products. Consequently, regulatory agencies in various countries recommend the development of rapid microbial detection methods as alternatives to traditional culture methods and have issued corresponding guidelines.

This kit is based on quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR) technology and is designed with primers and probes specific to the conserved sequences of Mycobacterium. It is used for the qualitative detection of Mycobacterium DNA in various biological products, as well as intermediate, semi-finished, and finished products.
